What we collect
Rank My Games stores the account details you provide, including your name, email address, and password hash. We also store the games you add, your Steam imports, your head-to-head picks, and the rankings generated from those picks.
Steam imports
Steam library import works with public Steam profile data. We use your Steam ID or profile URL to fetch your public game list from Steam. We do not ask for your Steam password.
Private by default
Your personal game library, comparison history, and personal ranking are private by default. Public ranking pages use aggregate game data and do not show your private account details.
Public-page analytics
We use Yandex Metrica on public pages to understand visits and interactions. Session replay (Webvisor), click maps, automatic page tracking, and link tracking are disabled. Only explicit page views with query-free public paths are sent. Analytics is not loaded on authentication pages, personal ranking and library pages, profile or history pages, or admin pages.
Registration notifications
When operational Telegram notifications are configured, a new registration sends the site operator the account name, email address, internal user ID, sign-up source, and time. These notifications help operate the beta and are not used for advertising.
Error monitoring
When configured, Sentry receives error stack traces, query-free application paths, and limited browser or server runtime metadata so we can diagnose failures. Request bodies, credentials, cookies, contact details, and URL query strings or fragments are filtered before sending. Client-side Sentry is disabled on sign-in and registration routes. Error records are retained according to the site operator's Sentry project settings and are used only for reliability and security work.
Other third-party services
Rank My Games may use Steam, RAWG, and SteamGridDB to import games and enrich game metadata such as covers, years, and genres. Those services handle their own requests under their own policies.
